Press release: Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Cambodia to the United Nations in New York requests the United Nations Security Council to “demand that the Thai Armed Forces immediately cease their illegal armed aggression against the Kingdom of Cambodia”
On 11 December 2025, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation issued a press release on the request of the Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Cambodia to the United Nations in New York to the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) to “demand that the Thai Armed Forces immediately cease their illegal armed aggression against the Kingdom of Cambodia”.
His Excellency Keo Chhea submitted a letter to His Excellency Samuel Bogar to bring the UNSC’s urgent attention and to request the latter to take decisive action on a series of unprovoked, unjustified, unlawful, and escalating armed aggressions committed by the Thai Armed Forces against the Kingdom of Cambodia, which have started since 7 December 2025 and continued unabated.
